Abstract

An encrusting organism which shows zonal cell-differentiation and patterns of cells reminiscent of both Melobesieae and Solenoporaceae (Algae), and cell-sizes more in keeping with certain invertebrate organisms, is described as Cretacicrusta dubiosa gen. et sp. nov., and its nature discussed.
