Abstract
Thirty-one species of microplankton from Upper Jurassic deposits in north-western Australia are identified, six new genera are proposed and the following new species described: Gonyaulax eumorpha, G. clathrata, G. bulloidea, Scriniodinium playfordi, S. dictyotum, S. ceratophorum, S.apatelum, Belodinium dysculum, Canningia reticulata, Hystrichosphaeridium pachydermum, H. torynum, H. capitatum, Cyclonephelium areolatum, C. densebarbatum, Cannosphaeropsis apiculata, Leiosphaeridia similis, Chlamydophorella wallala, Dictyopyxis areolata, Diplotesta glaessneri, Kalyptea diceras, K. monoceras, Komewuia glabra, Palaeostomocystis cylindrica, P. sinuosa.
