Membership of the Palaeontological Association is open to anyone. Subscriptions are kept low so as to allow as many people to join as possible. Prices for students have actually fallen over the past decade. The majority of members are professionally trained and are either studying for, or already have a higher degree gained by research into some area of the science. But there are also many members whose palaeontological expertise has been attained without formal training. In addition to other benefits, members receive Palaeontology (the Association's journal), Palaeontology Newsletter and generous discounts on other Association publications. Membership is extremely good value and is required for those applying for awards from the Association such as the annual Small Grants Scheme Awards.
If you would like to become a member of the Association, or if you are an existing member and would like to renew your membership, you can now do this online through the Online Secure Payment System
To do this add either of the membership categories (New Membership, Membership Renewals) to your shopping cart. From here you can either pay online using your credit card, or you can print the contents of your cart to allow you to post/fax the completed form to the Executive Officer
