Progressive Palaeontology: 2009 - Birmingham

Progressive Palaeontology: Birmingham 27–29th May 2009

Progressive Palaeontology 2009 is now over.

The meeting this year had more presentations than ever, with 24 talks and 11 posters of the highest quality. 52 delegates from around the UK were in attendance. We even had a full day of glorious sunshine for the field trip!

Congratulations to Nick Crumpton (University of Bristol) for winning the prize for best talk, and Nikita Jacobsen (University of Plymouth) for winning the prize for best poster.

Thanks to everyone for coming and making the conference such a success. We especially thank the Palaeontological Association and the University of Birmingham Graduate School (via RCUK Roberts Funding) for supporting the meeting.

And finally, good luck to Bristol for next year's Progressive Palaeontology!
